Sage-soar was established in 2019 with a straightforward mission: make quality financial education available to everyone, regardless of their starting point or prior knowledge.
The idea emerged from a simple observation. Many capable, intelligent people struggle with financial decisions not because they lack ability, but because no one ever taught them how money actually works. Schools cover history, literature, and science in depth, yet personal finance remains largely absent from formal education.
Our founders, themselves products of this educational gap, spent years learning financial principles through trial, error, and extensive self-study. They recognised that most people lack the time or resources for this approach. A structured, accessible alternative was needed.
Our Educational Philosophy
Financial concepts, when explained properly, are not inherently complex. The industry often obscures straightforward ideas behind jargon and technical language. We take the opposite approach, stripping away unnecessary complexity to reveal the underlying principles that govern financial success.
This does not mean oversimplification. Our advanced courses cover sophisticated strategies appropriate for those with substantial assets or complex financial situations. However, even advanced topics are presented with clarity, ensuring participants genuinely understand rather than simply memorise procedures.

All instructors have completed extensive training in educational methods. Expertise alone does not make an effective teacher. The ability to communicate complex ideas simply, engage different learning styles, and create supportive classroom environments requires specific skills that we develop continuously.
